Reuters: In a joint announcment with California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s office, today Starbucks (SBUX) announced the addition of medicinal marijuana dispensaries to designated California franchises. Industry analysts call the decision an attempt by Starbucks to deal with a dwindling proft margin. Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz told reporters all potential buyers must be currently licensed and have legitimate medical needs.
